The Council is the Data Controller of the information you provide when making a booking to attend a council event using Spektrix Ltd, the council’s events management system. Your details will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018, and, excepting if required by law, will not be shared with any third parties apart from the Council’s partner organisations, Spektrix Ltd, who are contracted to provide the ticketing and customer relationship management software. The council will collect and process this information under a contractual arrangement.

The information you provide when booking will only be used in order to administer your booking and to provide you with service information relevant to your booking (and to provide you with information on other Leeds City Council related activities and events, should you opt to receive this).

Where you have consented to receive further information from Leeds City Council about related events from the Arts events and venues service, Leeds City Council will use your personal data (email address) to contact you directly about the cultural events we programme or promote in ways that you find relevant, timely and respectful.

The personal data you provide will be retained by the council until you opt-out. You can opt-out of emails at any time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ button on emails sent.
